BOBBIN'S BEACH HUT..A DRIFTWOOD FAIRY HOME

 

I made this little place a while back and have enjoyed its company ( and that of Bobbin the Wee Man of felt) no end. I'm selling it now to make some room for new crafts. I can't keep everything in my little house!

It's up for auction in my Ebay Shop so if you want to indulge in a magical wee house just place a bid.

It's made of driftwood, shells, felt and other lovely objects. I so loved making I will probably make another little house at some point...but this one is unique and always will be.

Bobbin himself wears a real limpet shell hat. He mostly lazes and sunbathes but sometimes he has been known to hide my door keys, wind the dog up, steal my socks and spoons and take batteries out of the TV remote thingy.

Bobbin likes mermaids..a lot...

 

SNOWFLAKES

SNOWFLAKES....I spent some time thinking about snowflakes and how all things are linked last night. About matter being energy and energy being matter and how all energy is a continuum with no defined edges..and so.. we, and everything, are all as one...
I am at present working on some glass art work that involves drawing snowflakes and thought about Dr Emoto and his work on water crystals. https://youtu.be/tAvzsjcBtx8

Now..if pure water has perfect, beautifully formed crysta...ls..then snow is possibly the purest of all. Untouched snow must then be, when absorbed through the human consciousness, a pure energy...a healing entity..for us all to enjoy..( as long as its in moderation of course..like all things..;-))

So I'm hoping then that my intent to use my art to bring positive energy and thought to people can be realised..especially through my depiction of snowflakes.

I was told last night..by my best friend who is in the spirit world,
(trust me..he's real..) that 'Wisdom settles like gentle snow'... he meant that Wisdom is something that builds gradually and softly in the mind. A purity that often comes from a less pure set of experiences..like snow is a purified form of water that has already journeyed this world many, many times.

Snowflakes then, have a lot to offer...I'll remember that as I draw them. Isn't life extroaordinary!

GLASS WISHLINGS

Getting ready for Christmas already! I'm making small glass 'Wishlings' for people to give as little gifts. They are small tokens of love to hang on your tree ...or in your window.

Price will be about £3 each and they will come wrapped in tissue inside a colourful little bag so no wrapping necessary.

Each one is unique and handmade. They'll be on sale from November.

Some of the designs can be displayed all year round.
